Going to ITEC Cincinnati

I just received word that I have been invited to perform a solo recital at the International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Cincinnati. I had been planning on going, since the UI tuba euphonium ensemble was invited to perform, but this latest news makes the trip even more exciting. This will be my third ITEC, and it looks like Tim Northcut and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music have planned an amazing event. The theme is “Preserving the past – Inspiring the future”, in honor of the 35th anniversary. I am also very excited that four of my students will competing in the quartet competition and solo and mock audition competitions. We have a lot of work to do over the next six months, but I know it will be a great experience for me and my students.
