Yuletide Tubas

This time of year tubas generally get a lot of attention, thanks mostly to TubaChristmas, which was founded by Harvey Phillips to honor his teacher, Bill Bell, who was born on December 25, 1902. Here’s a sample of some of the publicity from this month:

Our own University of Iowa Holiday Tubas on Friday enjoyed plenty of publicity and brought in a huge box full of toys for Toys for Tots. Here’s the publicity:
